Top down height adjustment

Minor height adjustments to a completed deck can be easily made at any time after installation by inserting this tool into the slot in the top of the pedestal head, eliminating the need to lift pavers.

Note that this tool is not essential for installing the pedestals. You can screw the pedestals by hand during installation and it's possible (but not as easy) to insert a slotted screwdriver instead of this tool into the pedestal head for post installation adjustment.
