Pedestal & Paver Estimator
No need to worry about figuring out how many pavers and pedestals of each height will be required for your project.
Give us the details of your project and let our software estimate the quantities for you.
How Does it Work?
- Provide all dimensions along the perimeter and the required height of your deck surface at all transition points where the direction changes.
- Indicate any drainage points in the interior of the deck, their distance from the perimeter and the height from the drainage point on the substrate to the deck surface.
- Mark out any areas in the interior of the deck where pavers are not required to be installed e.g. large planters or other structures.
- Let us know which size of our porcelain pavers or Ipe wood pavers you have selected and whether you want these laid in stack bond or running bond (as appropriate).
- If you don’t have a specific pedestal type in mind, we can select the most appropriate model from our range (Prime, NM, Incendio non-combustible or stackable rubber pads)
- You can nominate which corner of the deck you want to laying to start and the angle of the pavers relative to the perimeter if you wish.
Why Use Archatrak’s Pedestal and Paver Estimator?
Unlike simple pen and paper methods of estimating pavers and pedestals which rapidly become very problematic for complex shaped deck areas or where there are multiple drainage points of different depths, the Archatrak pedestal and paver estimating software instantly updates results when any parameter changes are required. You will have detailed drawings showing placement of all pavers and pedestals you can give to your contractor, saving him substantial time, trouble and money in estimating requirements.
With our pedestal and paver estimator, we'll quickly update your results if you need to:
- change the type and size of paver being used
- change the model of pedestal (Archatrak Prime, NM or Incendio steel)
- select a different laying configuration (stack bond or running bond)
- add an additional center pedestal for the pavers (if required)
- choose different starting points for laying the pavers
- check alternative starting points to minimize waste when cutting pavers
- specify the angle of laying across the area
- specify areas to be excluded from paving
